Reading Now: Satellite Images Have Revealed A Highly Secured Chinese Base Under Construction In Gwadar
Forbes reported that some satellite images have revealed a highly secured Chinese base under construction in Gwadar port area of Pakistan. This comes as a shocking news to many, because even after repeated questioning, Chinese authorities have always refused to confirm the proceedings of such a project. The establishment of such a Chinese naval base on Pakistani soil with the Arabian sea will surely enable China to hold a seriously important strategic position and strong foothold on the Indian Ocean.

Satellite Images Of The Naval Fortress
The reports of China actually constructing a secret naval base in Pakistan on the location of China’s BRI (Belt and Road Initiative) in Gwadar came on the surface back in 2018, when people did not give much attention to what was happening. However, just recently, some satellite images have been leaked which have been analyzed by geo-navigation heritage experts, who are very near to being sure that China has indeed built a considerable part of its ambitious naval base project along the coastline of Arabian sea in Pakistan.
The satellite images have revealed a high security compound along with two other complexes which are noticeably small. As per reports, the Chinese high security compound is being used by China Communications Construction Company, or better known as CCCC. This company is owned majorly by the Chinese government itself with partial shareholders in the public sector.
CCCC specializes in state of the art civil engineering projects and infrastructure development. Some blueprints of the security systems have also been leaked which show in detail how heavily guarded the entire complex is. High walls, tall guard towers, anti-vehicle strike walls and possibly a bomb-proof interior. Steel wires are most probably electrified and fencing is also of robust sort.
Strategic Importance Of This Project For China
It is being discussed on the forums that China is living up to its undeclared yet notorious ambition of expanding its influence of power economically and also geographically. Holding a place at one gem of a place like Gwadar in form of a naval base opens unlimited possibilities and opportunities for China. China will be able to expand its practice of naval power on the Indian Ocean more expressively in the face of India and other countries. Gwadar is an extremely crucial trading point which connects the East hemisphere of the world to the West. Holding a foot in this place is mouth-watering for many countries.
The intentions of China yet remain unofficial and China still remains reluctant to talk about any of it. It is being hoped that Pakistan will culminate a decent amount of revenue by allowing China to use its land.
