Report For Karachi Plane Crash
The Federal Minister of Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan has reported that the official report concluding the cause of the unfortunate plane crash will be presented in the Parliament on 22nd June 2020. He said that the investigation is heading in the right direction and there should be no speculation over the fact that the investigation will be carried out completely unbiased and based on available facts.
The CVR and data recorder have been recovered from the crash site and they have not suffered fatal damage, which means that all data is available for a thorough investigation. Both of the data modules have been taken by Airbus, the company itself in France for legitimate testing and critical observation of data through simulation and lab testing.
It had been circulating among the public sectors that the CAA and other institutions were trying to throw all responsibility of the crash on the pilot of the machine that day, Captain Sajjad Gul himself. The Aviation minister clarified all doubts that all efforts will be made to protect the honor and integrity of the martyred pilot and his grieving family. He requested people to invest their trust in the investigation being carried out by the government institutions.
PM Imran’s Directive To Release Previous Reports
During a meeting with his cabinet, PM Imran Khan expressed anger and disappointment over the fact that the reports for the previous plane crashes never came to the scene and was kept under curtains. Since the birth of Pakistan, about 12 major commercial aviation disasters have struck the land of this country. 10 among them being of the national airlines, PIA. However, no reports were ever published. Airblue crash was on of the deadliest crashes in the world, yet nothing ever was told about what led to it.
However now, it is being hoped that all reports will finally be made public. And for once, people might be led in the right direction. Ghulam Sarwar Khan said that all proceedings are being carried out with utmost transparency so that the family of the dead can be made aware of what the cause of their loss was.
