It had been circulating among the public sectors that the CAA and other institutions were trying to throw all responsibility of the crash on the pilot of the machine that day, Captain Sajjad Gul himself. The Aviation minister clarified all doubts that all efforts will be made to protect the honor and integrity of the martyred pilot and his grieving family. He requested people to invest their trust in the investigation being carried out by the government institutions.

During a meeting with his cabinet, PM Imran Khan expressed anger and disappointment over the fact that the reports for the previous plane crashes never came to the scene and was kept under curtains. However, no reports were ever published. Airblue crash was on of the deadliest crashes in the world, yet nothing ever was told about what led to it.
