Pakistan News Today: Leader of the Opposition and PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif has been tested positive for the coronavirus. The news is confirmed by the party spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb earlier on 11th June 2020.

“PML-N Leader tested positive for coronavirus. He has currently isolated himself at home”, added Marriyam as many of the party leaders are now struggling with Covid-19.

On another account Party leader, Ataullah Tarar accused the government and NAB to threaten the life of Shahbaz Sharif by summoning him to NAB while a pandemic has taken the county by storm.   “life had been endangered in this situation by NAB’s summoning of him”.

He added that his appearance at NAB was the only instance he had left home and for this, the party holds the institution responsible.

“NAB was informed multiple times in writing that Shehbaz Sharif has suffered from cancer and compared to other people, his immunity system is weak”

Social media, on the other hand, fights on the authenticity of the news and for the test to be undertaken by government doctors. Others deem such accusations unethical considering the health condition of Mr Sharif and his contact with other party leaders.

Reports of the test are flowing on twitter as a proof of the claim and fought over by some who thinks of this as an attempt to flee NAB.
