Kashmir Day rallies – All over Pakistan


Kashmir day rallies were held in many big and small cities of Pakistan. The main purpose of these rallies is to show solidarity with the Kashmiri brothers and sisters.

A chain of human hands was created on the bridges connecting Pakistan and Azad Kashmir. At 10 o’clock the siren sounded and everyone silenced for a minute. School children and the public attended the rally in the city of Basham.

Chains of human hands were made in different cities to show solidarity with Kashmir. Thousands of people protested against India and the Indian army. The slogan of “Kashmir banay ga Pakistan” and “Pakistan Zindabad” were echoing all over the place.

National anthems of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir were played in many cities. Hundreds of students and citizens attended the rally and protesters chanted slogans against the atrocities of India.

A rally was organized by the Hindu Panchayat in Kashmir to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people. DG Khan, Pakpattan, Thatta, Skardu, Sadiqabad, Vehari, Rajanpur, Shikarpur, Liaquatpur, Chishtian, Mardan, Shugar, Shuja Abad also expressed solidarity with Kashmiris.

On the occasion of solidarity Kashmir, President Arif Alawi reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for Kashmiri brothers and sisters.

Prime Minister Imran Khan while expressing solidarity with Kashmiris said “Kashmiris have been facing inhuman lockdown for 6 months, and Indian claims on democracy and human rights have been exposed. Moreover, India made Kashmiris prisoner on their land through millions of army. ┬áPakistan will always stand shoulder to shoulder with the Kashmiris; the world should play a role in protecting the peace and security of the region.”

Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said on the occasion,

“We will continue to play a role in shaking the conscience of the world; our unwavering support for Kashmiris will continue, lasting peace is nothing more than a wish.”

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Nadeem Raza said in a message that

“Kashmiris are deprived of basic human rights, contrary to UN resolutions for seven decades”

Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan said,

“We are confidently supporting and stand with the Kashmiri Nation in time of need”

Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mehmood Abbasi said that:

“In the struggle for the right to self-determination, we stand side by side with Kashmiris.”
