Indian Army continues its oppression on Kashmir [Kashmiris ready to fight back]

Indian Army has continued its oppression on the Kashmiri people and the people are not having it anymore.

This is an issue that predates the existence of Pakistan. Just before the independence of Pakistan, the issue arose of the princely states siding with India or Pakistan. This included the princely state of Jammu and Kashmir. In September–November 1947 in the Jammu region of the princely state of Jammu and Kashmir, a large number of Muslims were massacred, and others drove away to West Punjab.

The impetus for this violence was partly provided by the influx of a large number of Hindu and Sikh refugees since March 1947, who brought with them “harrowing stories of Muslim atrocities,” to Jammu from West Punjab. The killings were carried out by extremist Hindus and Sikhs, aided and abetted by the forces of the Dogra State headed by the Maharaja of Jammu and Kashmir Hari Singh. Observers state that Hari Singh aimed to alter the demographics of the region by eliminating the Muslim population, to ensure a Hindu majority in the region and with the conspiracy with the army, ensured that Kashmir would be forcefully made part of India. But the Kashmiris then fought back and raised their voice, which acted as the origin of the Kashmir issue.

Since then, India has continued to oppress Kashmir and the Kashmiri people have continued to retaliate. Within the recent years, this oppression has reached its peak and now the situation is as bad as it can get.

It is now a necessity that all the Muslim countries unite to help Kashmir against this oppression and retaliate against the Indian army to drive them away from Kashmir. In this day and age, it is the role of the media to highlight this issue on all grounds as much as possible and the entire Muslim community should come together to do what they can with all the power they have. Only then would these words be not just empty ones and Kashmir would go towards being freed from the Indian oppression.
