Reason Behind His Infection
The most evident justification behind him getting infected is the fact that Shahid Afridi has had to stay in the field because of his charity foundation Shahid Afridi Foundation. His trust has been providing food and basic survival items to the poorest of people in far off areas where government has no access whatsoever. Shahid Afridi, out of humanitarian spirit had been participating in this noble effort himself, going house to house and meeting poor people.
Shahid Afridi has also had to attend some media press conferences, to clarify the speculations revolving in the public of him joining the politics soon. He denied all his chances of entering the pitch of politics and said that charity suits him more for the humanitarian cause.
Fellow Cricketers Are Wishing Recovery
His tweet said that he had been feeling unwell and that his body was aching pretty bad. However he is very hopeful of his speedy recovery. In reply to his saddening tweet, many of his fellow cricketers jumped on the scene and bucked him up and prayed for him.
The first one was PCB, the cricket board itself, wishing him swift recovery.
