Coronavirus crisis brings back Shahbaz Sharif to Pakistan after four months stay in London


Coronavirus News: Shahbaz Sharif arrived in Islamabad via flight PK7 at 6 am, after his four months stay in London.

In his message on Twitter after his return, he said that he had reached Islamabad.


He further said that

“He went to London for the sake of his brother Nawaz Sharif’s treatment.”

Furthermore, “There is a strong appeal to the people to keep the distance from each other and stay in their homes.”

He told the media that he came back to Pakistan on the instructions of his elder brother Nawaz Sharif to stay in Pakistan and help the nation in this crucial time. As a Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly, he needed to return to Pakistan as soon as he could.

Sources have affirmed that Shahbaz Sharif wanted to stay with his brother Nawaz Sharif as he will undergo cardiac intervention surgery next week, But Nawaz Sharif instructs him to go back to Pakistan in order to deal with Coronavirus crisis by using his expertise which he used while Dengue attack.

After his return from London, Shahbaz Sharif quarantined himself in a room of his house in Model Town Lahore.

Moreover, Shahbaz Sharif will not meet anyone for four to five days; political leaders and workers are stopped from the meeting.

Shahbaz Sharif faced lots of criticism from the Government on his return to Pakistan.

Earlier, Minister of Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry had said that Shahbaz Sharif is here just for the sake of his leadership.


Further, he said, “Hopefully, the rest of the family will return, too, and pay for the money they make and after that, they are allowed to stay in London.”

Not just the politicians are busy in criticism but the people of Pakistan are not seemed so happy to have him here. On Social media, many of them are calling all this scenario as a“Political Drama.”

PIA, on Saturday, has announced that it will be going to suspend international flights for two weeks due to the Coronavirus outbreak. According to the government advisory, the suspension will be effective from March 21 to April 4.
